WBA rules obligatory title defense for Usyk against Dubois

The World Boxing Association (WBA) appointed Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk a mandatory title defense against British boxer Daniel Dubois. The date and place of the fight have not been determined yet.

Usyk holds WBA Super title along with IBF/WBO belts, while Dubois holds WBA Regular title.

Usyk, 35, had his last fight in the ring in August of this year, when he faced Anthony Joshua for the rematch. This fight ended with Usyk's victory by split decision of the judges. Oleksandr had 20 wins (13 KOs) and no defeats on his record.

On the night of December 4, 25-years-old Dubois defeated Kevin Lerena by TKO in the third round. Daniel has 19 wins (17 by knockout) and one loss.
