WBC, WBA and IBF champion Spence says when he'll be back in the ring

WBC, WBA and IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence revealed when he will be able to return to the ring after a car accident that left the boxer unable to train due to injuries.

Errol Spence to Showtime
I was planning on announcing a fight three or four days after the accident, but the injuries took their toll, so we postponed everything. It's probably May or June. I need to talk to my team. I'm sure I'll recover 100 percent. I've had worse accidents. But I need to talk to the team and find a date that works for all of us.

Spence holds the WBC, WBA and IBF welterweight titles. Errol had his last fight in April 2022. That time he defeated Yordenis Ugás by TKO in the tenth round. Spence, 32, had 28 wins (22 by KO) and no defeats.

Late in October, the World Boxing Association (WBA) approved Errol Spence's request to defend his world title against Keith Thurman in February, 2023.
