According to French outlet Canal+, 2023 World Championship runner-up, Mexican driver Sergio Perez, who raced for the Formula 1 team Oracle Red Bull Racing, will leave the Austrian team.

Reports indicate that Japanese Red Bull driver Yuki Tsunoda will be joined by New Zealander Liam Lawson, who has been promoted to the main driver lineup. Both 24-year-old Tsunoda and 22-year-old Lawson are set to race for the Italian team Racing Bulls SpA starting in the 2025 season.

However, on November 11, Marca reported that the Mexican driver was expected to remain with Red Bull for the 2025 season.

The 34-year-old Perez has been a part of the Red Bulls since the 2021 season. He finished eighth in the overall standings for the 2024 Formula 1 season, accumulating 152 points and standing on the podium four times (three second places and one third place).
