Mick Schumacher Ends Partnership with Mercedes Team

According to an official statement on the Mercedes team website, reserve driver Mick Schumacher will leave the team at the end of the 2024 season.

Mick is a racer of an incredibly high calibre and one that deserves to be competing in the very best championships. As he moves on to his next challenge, I would like to thank Mick personally for his contribution to our team and we all wish him the very best in his future endeavours.

Previously, Mick raced for the Haas team for two years, from 2021 to 2022, where his teammates were Russian driver Nikita Mazepin and Danish driver Kevin Magnussen.

Mick is the son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher.
