Argentinian President Javier Milei condemned an attack by eco-activists on the home of Inter Miami and Argentina national team player Lionel Messi, labeling it cowardly.
The protest was organized by the Spanish group Futuro Vegetal and targeted Messi’s mansion in Ibiza.

I express my solidarity with the Messi family regarding this cowardly and outlandish event. I urge the government of Pedro Sanchez (the head of the Spanish government. — Ed.) to ensure the safety of Argentine citizens living in Spain.
Lionel Messi is a seven-time Ballon d'Or winner and led the Argentina national team to victory in the 2022 World Cup. He has also claimed numerous trophies with Barcelona and PSG, including the Champions League and national championships.
