According to Fichajes, Barcelona are considering the transfer of Fiorentina defender Michael Kayode as a possible alternative to Joao Cancelo.
The Portuguese player is currently on season-long loan at Barcelona. The Spanish club are hoping to buy the defender this summer, but Manchester City's asking price for him could turn out to be a problem. In that case, the Catalans may be forced to look for a cheaper alternative.
Earlier the media reported about Arsenal's interest in Kayode. Scouts of the London club were in Florence in October 2023 and live watched the game of the defender in the match with Cagliari (3:0), where he made an assist. The player's agent has confirmed interest from Arsenal.
