Brazil Women's National Team Fails To Reach World Cup Playoffs For The First Time In 28 Years

The Brazilian women's national team failed to make the playoffs of the FIFA Women's World Cup for the first time since 1995, having played a draw with Jamaica in the third round of the group stage.

On August 2, the Brazilian national team played to a 0-0 draw with Jamaica. At the end of the three rounds of the group stage, the Brazilian national team scored four points and took third place in F group.

The French national team with seven points and the Jamaican national team with five points went to the playoffs of the tournament. The World Cup takes place from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. The current winners of the Women's World Cup are the U.S. national team players.
