Chelsea And Man City Will Leave EPL If Found Guilty Of Financial Fair Play Violation

English football clubs Manchester City and Chelsea could be expelled from the country's top division, the Daily Mail reported.

Man City is accused of 115 financial fair play violations since 2009, while Chelsea is suspected of making illegal payments to intermediaries. If proven guilty, both teams could be relegated from the English Premier League (EPL).

After 12 rounds of the current season of the EPL Manchester lead the standings with 28 points, and the London club is tenth with 16 points.

Earlier, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) fined the Spanish Barcelona for €500,000 for violations of financial rules. Everton lost ten points in the current season of the EPL because of similar violations.
