Cristiano Ronaldo Wants to Spend His Last Season at Sporting

Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has shared his memories of the beginning of his career. The Portuguese footballer expressed his gratitude to Sporting Lisbon, which, according to him, helped him to get into professional football.

Ronaldo said in an interview with TCR:

I will retire there. I have to give it to them even if it is one season of my service. They scouted me while no one saw something special in me, they made me and without them I would probably be working at McDonalds.

Cristiano Ronaldo played for Sporting from 2002 to 2003. During this time he took part in 31 games, scoring five goals and giving six assists.

Earlier Forbes recognized Ronaldo as the highest paid footballer of the year.
