De Telegraaf: Promes Shares Prison Cell With 15 Inmates

Spartak Moscow football club striker Quincy Promes is in the same cell with at least 15 prisoners, De Telegraaf reported.

According to the source, the 32-year-old footballer was transferred to the prison in Al Aweer, located 35 km from the center of Dubai (UAE). Since the cell is designed for only six people, Promes has to sleep on one of three bunk beds. At the same time, 15 to 20 of his cellmates sleep on the floor.

In late February, the Dutch forward was detained in Dubai, where he was at Spartak's winter training camp. He faces deportation to his homeland and imprisonment for 7.5 years for drug smuggling and assault on his cousin.

Earlier it became known that Spartak will receive compensation of 20 million at the termination of the contract with Promes.
