In a conversation with BeanymanSports, Guardiola confirmed that Slot referred to his comments as a joke and agreed that it indeed was indeed a joke.
To recall, Slot had made a remark about Mohamed Salah's possible last game against Manchester City for Liverpool, suggesting that Salah might know something about the 115 charges and does not expect the club to participate in the English league next season.
Currently, Manchester City sit fourth in the Premier League standings with 26 points, while Liverpool lead the table with 35 points. Earlier, Guardiola had also commented on reports of a conflict with the club's midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne.
