Hansi Flick Banned for Two La Liga Matches

The disciplinary committee of the Spanish Football Federation has decided to impose a two-match ban on FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick due to his conduct during the match in the 16th round of La Liga against Real Betis, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

The German manager was sent off the field after arguing with the referee. Barcelona have been given 10 days to appeal the committee's decision.

Flick began disputing a penalty awarded against Barcelona for a foul by Frenkie de Jong on Vitor Roque.

According to the referee's report, Flick left the technical area while yelling and gesturing, showing his disagreement with the referee's decision.

Currently, Barcelona lead the La Liga standings with 38 points.

Earlier, Flick expressed his dissatisfaction with his team’s performance against Betis during the post-match press conference.
