Ibrahimovic Explained Frequent Change of Clubs by Desire to Test Himself

Former Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, Manchester United and Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic told The Athletic that he often changed clubs in his career to test himself.

It should be noted that in addition to the above clubs, the forward also played for Ajax, Juventus, Malmo, Inter and Los Angeles. The footballer ended his playing career in the summer of 2023 and now holds one of the managerial positions at AC Milan.

Changing clubs is to test myself. I take my backpack and I come to your garden. Different culture, different language, away from home. In your own garden, your mother cooks for you, cleans your clothes, you have everything you want. You were raised and born there. So you're in a comfort zone. I go away from my comfort zone and I test myself.

Earlier, the ex-striker admitted that ego prevented him from deciding to end his sporting career. On June 8, 2024, Ibrahimovic made his last appearance for Sweden in a friendly match against Serbia.
