Sports journalist Jeremy Cross has reported on his social media that Kevin De Bruyne, the captain of the Belgian national team and midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City, may leave the club.
According to the information, Major League Soccer (MLS) team Inter Miami is considering the 33-year-old midfielder as their main transfer target and may initiate negotiations for a potential move as early as January 2025.
In the 2024/2025 season, De Bruyne has appeared in eight Premier League matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists, as well as participated in three Champions League matches. His current contract with Manchester City runs until the end of June 2025, with a market value estimated at 45 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
During a press conference on November 26, De Bruyne hinted that he might leave Manchester City at the end of the season. Additionally, reports indicate that Manchester City intend to offer De Bruyne a chance to continue his career with their partner club New York City FC.
