Journalist Romano: Tuchel To Take a Career Break After MU Rejection

German football coach Thomas Tuchel is ready to take a break in his coaching career, according to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Reportedly, the 50-year-old specialist was negotiating for a job as head coach of English Premier League (EPL) club Manchester United, but he rejected their offer and decided not to look for a new job.

May 17, Tuchel announced his resignation from the post of coach of Bayern Munich at the end of the season-2023/2024, with compensation for early departure of approximately €10 million. By the end of the championship, the Reds finished in third place in the standings (72 points for 34 rounds). Previously, Tuchel led Chelsea, winning the Champions League in the season-2020/2021, and a year later - the UEFA Super Cup with them.
