Messi Has No Plans to Become a Coach After Retirement

Argentinian footballer and captain of Inter Miami, Lionel Messi, recently shared whether he intends to become a coach after finishing his professional playing career.

I know that being a coach is something I wouldn't like to be. But I don't have a clear idea of what I might do. I value much more what I experience day by day. I only think about training, playing, and having fun.

Messi has played for Inter Miami since 2023. In 37 matches for the American club across all competitions, he has scored 33 goals and provided 18 assists.

The star forward’s contract with Inter Miami extends until the end of December 2025, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €25 million.

Throughout his career, the 37-year-old forward has also played for PSG and Barcelona.

Earlier, Messi talked about changing his playing style after moving to Inter Miami, and he also answered a question regarding his potential participation in the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in North America.
