Neymar Informs Al-Hilal Of Intention To Join Barcelona On Loan

Brazilian forward Neymar from Saudi club Al-Hilal wants to return to Spanish club Barcelona on loan, as reported by Sport.es.

According to sources, Neymar would like to spend a year on loan at the Spanish club after recovering from a knee injury. It is noted that the clubs have not held any negotiations regarding the Brazilian forward.

Recall that Neymar previously played for Barcelona from 2013 to 2017. In total, the forward played 186 matches for the Catalan club, scoring 105 goals and providing 76 assists. Ahead of the 2017/18 season, Neymar moved to PSG for 222 million euros.

In Al-Hilal, the Brazilian has played only five matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists. The 32-year-old forward's contract with the Saudi team runs until the end of June 2025, with a market value of €45 million according to Transfermarkt data.

Earlier, the doctor of the Brazilian national team stated that Neymar would not recover from his injury before August 2024. The French Ministry of Finance has conducted searches related to potential violations in Neymar's transfer from Barcelona to PSG in 2017.
