Sir Alex Ferguson Recognized As Best 90s Manager According To FourFourTwo

Former Manchester United head coach Sir Alex Ferguson has been named the best coach of the 1990s according to FourFourTwo magazine.

During that time the Red Devils managed by Ferguson won the Champions League, five FA titles, three FA Cups, the English League Cup, four FA Super Cups, the Cup Winners' Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.

Johan Cruyff, who managed Ajax and Barcelona, and former Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid and Russian national team manager Fabio Capello also made it to the top 3.

Frenchman Zinedine Zidane was recognized as the best footballer of the same time period, and Mohamed Salah, a Liverpool striker, led the list of the best players in Africa.

Ferguson managed Manchester United from 1986 to 2013, winning 13 English league titles and two Champions Leagues. He has a total of 38 trophies on his record at the helm of MU.
