Swiss football player dies in a pool during a vacation in Oman

Elia Alessandrini, a Swiss footballer, defender of the Stade Lausanne-Ouchy FC, died during his vacation in Oman. He died in the pool hours before his flight home.
 
The Swiss Football Federation announced the tragic news. Alessandrini was spending the vacation with his beloved and died before her eyes. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
