Belgium head coach Domenico Tedesco commented on the defeat of his team from Slovakia with the score (0:1) in the match of the first round of the group stage of Euro-2024.
Tedesco told the UEFA press service:
We created many chances, big chances. Of course, if we take one, then it makes the game easier. The only thing that we didn't do well was missing chances. We had plenty. It's part of the game. Of course the players were disappointed.
The defeat to Slovakia was Tedesco's first as head coach of the Belgian national team.
Belgium will play Romania in the second round of the group stage. The match will be held on June 22.
