Crosby's Contract Talks With Pittsburgh Penguins Underway

Sidney Crosby, captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins, has spoken about negotiating a new contract with the club.

The 36-year-old hockey player’s current agreement runs until the end of the 2024/25 season. Crosby stated that he intends to discuss the new contract with Pittsburgh's general manager, Kyle Dubas. However, the player is unsure if the negotiations will conclude successfully. Crosby also emphasized that he does not contemplate how many more seasons he can play, preferring to evaluate his performance based on current results rather than age.

Crosby has been playing for Pittsburgh since 2005, winning the Stanley Cup three times during his tenure. In the current season, the Canadian scored 94 points in 82 regular NHL season games.
