28-Year-Old Bellator Fighter Who Suffered Cardiac Arrest During Training Regains Consciousness

28-year-old American Bellator lightweight fighter Cris Lencioni, who previously suffered a cardiac arrest during training, has regained consciousness.

At the moment the athlete is in the hospital, his condition is severe, but the situation is improving - he began to respond to external stimulation.

Lencioni had his last fight against Blake Smith in April of this year at Bellator 294 tournament. Cris won that fight with a choke in the second round.

Lencioni was in the cage against Cody Law at Bellator 289 in December 2022. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Cris by split decision. He has 11 wins and three losses under his belt.
