Alexander Emelianenko will fight by MMA rules by the end of the year

Nikita Burchak, Alexander Emelianenko's manager, said that his ward will hold his next fight by the end of 2022 under mixed martial arts rules.

Burchak told Match TV
"Alexander Emelianenko has signed a contract for a new fight. I can't disclose all the details yet, but this fight will take place before the end of the year. In 2022 Alexander already had bare-knuckle and boxing fights, and this fight will be under MMA rules. The fans will be happy."

Emelianenko and Datsik fought in a boxing match in the main event of Hardcore Boxing tournament, held in Moscow on September 24. In this fight Alexander lost by knockout in the 13th second of the first round.

In February this year, Emelianenko fought American Jeff Monson on bare knuckles in Hardcore FC. This confrontation lasted the whole time and ended in favor of Alexander by a unanimous decision of the judges.
