American UFC featherweight fighter Cody Stamann, who will fight Brazilian Luan Lacerda at UFC 283 in Brazil, said he fears the reaction of local fans if he wins.

In a hostile situation, I will act like they do to me. People behave ruthlessly, they pour beer on us, they throw all kinds of shit and they are disgusting. I'm sure I'll finish Lacerda off, and I'm thinking of hiring private security, because I know the fans will be ruthless to me. This trip to Brazil is going to be unforgettable.
As you may recall, UFC 283 will take place on January 22 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The 33-year old Stamann had his last fight against Eddie Wineland at UFC on ESPN 37 in June 2022. Their confrontation ended with Cody winning by TKO in the first round. Last January, at UFC 270, he lost to Said Nurmagomedov by TKO in the first round. Stamann has 16 wins and five losses under his belt.
