On July 30 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, the Bellator/Rizin co-main event featured a title fight in the men's flyweight division between Japanese fighters Kyoji Horiguchi and Makoto Takahashi.

The fight was declared a no contest due to an accidental poke to the eye by Horiguchi at the 25th second of the first round.
