Benson Henderson on his career end: Now it's my wife's turn to shine in the cage

Former UFC and WEC lightweight champion Benson Henderson commented on his decision to end his professional fighting career.

Benson Henderson
It's my wife's turn to shine - it's her turn to train three or four times a day and succeed. I'll leave that to her, and I'll take over most of the care of the kids. But I'll still go to the gym to help my team and, of course, my wife.

Recall, on the night of March 11 at Bellator 292 tournament, Benson Henderson lost to the promotion's lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov with a chokehold in the first round. The 39-year-old Benson has 30 wins and 12 losses under his belt.

Maria Henderson will fight Mackenzie Stiller on March 31 at Bellator 293.
