The UFC has officially announced a bantamweight fight between former two-division champion American Henry Cejudo and Ecuadorian fighter Marlon Vera. The fight will take place August 19 at UFC 292 in Boston (USA).
In his last fight at UFC 288 in May 2023, Cejudo, 36, lost to Aljamain Sterling by split decision. He has 16 wins and three losses under his belt.
Vera, 30, last competed in the Octagon in March 2023 at UFC on ESPN 43, losing to Cory Sandhagen by split decision. He has 20 wins and eight losses under his belt.
