American UFC fighter Michael Chandler commented on the moment when former league champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor grabbed his cheeks with both hands on The Ultimate Fighter show.
Look how small McGregor's hands are. That’s probably the biggest reason I barely felt the push. I will say…I hadn’t spent a lot of time around Conor before the show…but that was the first thing I noticed – disproportionately small hands. Even with all the puffiness…very small hands, like a newborn baby’s hands.
McGregor and Chandler are currently on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) show as coaches. After filming of the show is complete, the two are scheduled to have a fight.
Chandler last fought against Dustin Poirier in November 2022 at UFC 281. In that confrontation, Michael was defeated by a choking submission in the third round. He has 23 wins and eight losses to his credit.
McGregor last went into the octagon against the aforementioned Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. This fight Conor lost by technical knockout because of breaking his leg. He has 22 wins and six defeats under his belt.
