Cormier thinks Pavlovich can cause problems for Jones in the fight

Former UFC two-weight champion Daniel Cormier believes Russian heavyweight Sergei Pavlovich can create problems for Jon Jones in a fight.

I'm watching Pavlovich. After what he did to Tai Tuivasa and everyone else, it's safe to assume he's a dangerous opponent for Jones. It's worth considering that Jones has never fought the really big guys.

Pavlovich faced Australia's Tai Tuivasa in the octagon Dec. 4 at UFC on ESPN 42. In this confrontation, Sergei won by knockout in the first round. On his record he had 17 wins and one defeat.

The last time Jones stepped into the Octagon against his compatriot Dominick Reyes was in February, 2020, at the UFC 247 tournament. That fight ended in favor of Jones by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 26 wins and one loss on his record.
