A fight between former UFC welterweight title challenger Colby Covington and division number four contender Belal Muhammad is in the works.
This was reported by The Schmo reporter on Twitter. The approximate date of the fight is still unknown.
Covington, 34, defeated Jorge Masvidal by unanimous decision at UFC 272 in March. He has a record of 17 wins and three losses.
Muhammad, 34, last competed at UFC 280 in October 2022, where he defeated Sean Brady via second-round TKO. He has a record of 22 wins and three losses.
