Dana White Disapproves of Cerrone's Wish to Return to UFC: I Hate It

UFC President Dana White responded to American fighter Donald Cerrone’s intention to return to the premier league after recently announcing his wish to fight two more times to reach a career total of 50 fights.

Dana White
I hate it. Love him, hate that. He retired. For what? What’s left to prove? If you want to make money, let’s figure something else out. I hate it. When guys retire, they retire for a reason. They don’t just retire because — they retire because they know it’s over. They know it is.

The 41-year-old Cerrone last fought in July 2022 at UFC 276, where he lost to Jim Miller by submission in the second round.

Cerrone made his UFC debut against Paul Kelly in February 2011, winning by submission (triangle choke) in the second round. His overall record includes 36 wins, 17 losses, and two fights that were declared no contests.
