UFC CEO Dana White has declared that the slap-fighting league PowerSlap has outperformed the most prestigious leagues in the world in terms of success.
Time quotes White as saying:
Power Sleep is the most successful business that I've ever been a part of in such a short amount of time. [In] 19 months, we have 17 million followers. We have some of the biggest videos in sports on social media, more sponsors than the UFC had in 10 years, and a bigger television-rights deal than the UFC had in 10 years.
Meanwhile, the UFC 306 tournament is set to take place in Las Vegas on September 15, featuring a title fight in the bantamweight division between American Sean O'Malley and Georgian Merab Dvalishvili. The co-main event will showcase the championship trilogy in the women's flyweight category between Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso.
