Former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards will fight in the main event of a UFC tournament scheduled for March 22 in London. Leon announced this in an interview with sports reporter Jamie Ward from DAZN Boxing.
However, the British fighter did not disclose the name of his upcoming opponent.
Edwards' last fight took place in July this year at UFC 304, where he faced Bilal Muhammad. The bout was for the UFC welterweight championship title.
The fight went the distance, and Leon lost by unanimous decision, resulting in him losing the championship title. Edwards holds a professional MMA record of 22 wins and four losses, with one fight ruled as a no contest.
