Russian mixed martial arts fighter Fedor Emelianenko ended his fighting career after losing to Ryan Bader in the main event of Bellator 290, which took place on February 5 in Inglewood (USA).

On the one hand, I'm sad that I couldn't please you today, dear friends. On the other hand, I am very happy. That you were cheering me on, that you are here - the fighters who have been fighting alongside me all these years. It's wonderful to see your faces. I'm done, thank you all.

Emelianenko, 46, made his professional MMA debut in 2000. During his career, he had 47 fights, winning 40 of them. In the main event of Bellator 290, Fedor lost by TKO in the first round to Ryan Bader.
