Figueiredo plans to move up to UFC bantamweight after his fight with Moreno

Reigning UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo said he plans to move up to bantamweight after his fourth fight against Brandon Moreno.

Deiveson Figueiredo in his interview to UFC
I want to fight Moreno in the flyweight, but I want to move up to bantamweight. I'm about to turn 35, and I don't want to put my body under a lot of stress because of the weight class.

The first fight between Figueredo and Moreno took place in December 2020 at UFC 256 and ended in a draw by majority decision. The second fight between these fighters was held in June 2021 at UFC 263, and it ended in favor of the Mexican by third-round submission. The third fight took place in January, 2022, at the UFC 270, where Figueredo won by decision. He has 21 wins and two losses under his belt. Moreno has 19 wins, seven losses and two draws.
