Former Bellator bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis will rematch Japan's Kyoji Horiguchi at Rizin 47 on June 9 in Tokyo.
The first bout between these fighters took place in December 2021 at Bellator 272. That fight, which was stopped in the fourth round, ended in favor of Pettis. He has 23 wins and six losses. Horiguchi has 32 wins and five losses on his record, with another of his fights being ruled a no contest.
Pettis's last MMA fight was against Patrick Mix in November 2023 at Bellator 301. In that fight, Sergio was defeated by a choking submission in the second round.
