Former UFC women's strawweight champion, American Carla Esparza is no longer a fighter of the promotion. This was announced on social media by UFC Roster Watch.
Esparza defeated Rose Namajunas by split decision at UFC 274 in May 2022 to win the women's strawweight championship belt.
Esparza lost the title in November 2022 at UFC 281 with a second-round submission loss to Weili Zhang. Carla has 19 wins and seven losses on her record in mixed martial arts.
