I thought Shavkat was gonna beat Belal in the first case. I feel like definitely Belal is gonna benefit from having 25 minutes of footage to watch. And I feel like Belal can definitely go out there and get the win. As can Shavkat. Because the more aggressive you are against someone like Shavkat, the more holes you could possibly open up for him to finish you. So I’m still massively intrigued by that fight.
Rakhmonov faced Gary on December 8 at UFC 310. In that fight, which lasted the full distance, Shavkat won by unanimous decision. He currently boasts an impressive record of 19 wins and no losses.
Muhammad last stepped into the octagon against Leon Edwards in July of this year at UFC 304. Belal won that fight by unanimous decision, earning him the UFC welterweight title. His record stands at 24 wins, three losses, and one no contest.
