A heavyweight bout between American Derrick Lewis and Brazilian Rodrigo Nascimento will headline UFC on ESPN 56, which takes place on 11 May in St. Louis (USA).
This was announced by the UFC press office on social media.
Lewis, 39, last fought in November 2023 at UFC Fight Night 231 in Sao Paulo (Brazil) against Jailton Almeida. In that fight, Derrick lost by unanimous decision of the judges. He has a total of 27 wins, 12 losses and one fight was ruled a no contest.
Nascimento, 31, defeated Don'Tale Mayes by unanimous decision at the same event. He has 10 wins and one loss on his record.
