McGregor Explains Why UFC Has Low Fees

Former UFC double champion, Irish fighter Conor McGregor has responded to complaints from fighters about being underpaid in the league.

Irish Mirror quotes McGregor as saying:

To be aligned with the UFC for anyone is a major launch pad. You’re with the UFC now, that in itself is prestige. Which is enough to say, you know, you could take a lower value than another area may offer you in today’s climate. But it’s the UFC brand value, and that holds mega weight. Look at how it has worked out for me. It has helped me, it has helped catapult me into many arenas where I have succeeded immensely.

Earlier, fighter Cody Durden revealed that McGregor and Michael Chandler will headline UFC 303, which takes place on 29 June in Las Vegas, USA.

McGregor, 35, last fought against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. In that fight, Conor suffered a technical knockout defeat after breaking leg. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
