McGregor: It Will Be 2025, I’d Like It to Be Chandler

Former UFC champion in two weight classes Conor McGregor has spoken about his return to the octagon and reiterated his desire to fight Michael Chandler.

Championship Rounds quotes McGregor as saying:

It will be 2025. Just as long as I can get back, whoever. I’d like it to be Chandler. I’d like to get that squared away, so I wish him well against Oliveira, but let’s see how it goes.

McGregor last fought against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264, where he suffered a technical knockout due to a leg break. His professional record is 22 wins and six losses.

Michael Chandler’s last fight was against Dustin Poirier in November 2022 at UFC 281, where he lost by submission in the third round. His record currently stands at 23 wins and eight losses.
