Famous MMA trainer Javier Mendez commented on the decision to release former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez on bail.

Recall that Velasquez is charged with attempted murder. The next hearing on the case is scheduled for November 21.

Javier Mendez' post
Finally the judge has figured it out. No real man, and Cain is one, would ever run away abandoning his family. Velasquez last fought in February 2019 as part of the UFC on ESPN 1 tournament. In that confrontation, Cain was defeated by a first-round knockout.

Velasquez made his mixed martial arts debut against his compatriot Jesse Fujarczyk in October 2006. The fight was over in favor of Cain by TKO in the first round. On his record in mixed martial arts he had 14 wins and three losses.
