Miocic thinks he will "take out" Jones in a possible fight

Former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic has spoken out regarding his possible fight against newly crowned division champion Jon Jones.

Stipe Miocic for ESPN
He won, you have to give him credit. But unfortunately for him, he'll have to fight me in July. Why will I be a challenge for Jones? For many reasons. He hasn't met the likes of me yet. I know it's a cliché, but it's true. I can take out this guy.

Jones became the new heavyweight champion after defeating Frenchman Cyril Gan by first-round choke in a fight for the vacant title, which took place March 5 in Las Vegas (USA) at UFC 285. Jones has 27 wins and one loss under his belt.

Miocic last stepped into the Octagon against Francis Ngannou in March 2021 at UFC 260. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended with a knockout loss to Stipe.
