Mitchell Thanks Emmett After Being Knockout By Him At UFC 296

UFC American featherweight Bryce Mitchell published a post on social networks, in which he addressed his compatriot Josh Emmett, with whom he fought at UFC 296.

Recall that Emmett defeated Mitchell by first-round knockout on December 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA).

Bryce Mitchell
I want to let you all know that I am so happy with Josh Emmett. Right after he knocked me out, he could have followed up with hammerfists, and it probably would have killed me. He didn’t even follow up with anything. He was just happy with his knockout, and he walked away. And I’m so gracious for that, I will forever remember that. Thank you for not hitting me extra, Josh.

Mitchell, 29, defeated Dan Ige by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 228 in September 2023. He has 16 wins and two losses on his record.

Emmett, 38, previously stepped into the octagon in June 2023 at UFC on ABC 5, losing to Ilia Topuria via unanimous decision. He has 19 wins and four losses on his record.
