Former UFC women's strawweight champion, American Rose Namajunas suffered a hand injury in the first round of her bout against Frenchwoman Manon Fiorot. The athlete's husband Pat Barry posted a photo of her injury.
The fight between Namajunas and Fiorot took place on September 2 at UFC Fight Night 226 in Paris. This confrontation lasted the whole distance and ended with the defeat of Rose by unanimous decision of judges.
Namajunas has 11 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts. Fiorot has 11 wins and one loss.
