Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira will be in Ian Garry's corner during his fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov, scheduled for December 8 at UFC 310 in Las Vegas, USA.
Garry said on his YouTube channel:
I f---ing love and adore Charles Oliveira with all of my heart. He is absolutely the most entertaining fighter in the UFC. ... Man has never been in an un-entertaining fight. He’s an absolute savage, I love him, and he’s going to be in my corner for this fight.
Garry last fought against Michael Page in June of this year at UFC 303, winning by unanimous decision after going the full distance. He boasts an undefeated record of 15 wins.
Rakhmonov's most recent fight was against Stephen Thompson in December 2023 at UFC 296, which he won by submission in the second round. His record stands at 18 victories with no defeats.
