Pavlovich: I'm Very Motivated To Replace Anyone In Jones vs Miocic Title Fight

No. 2 in the UFC heavyweight division Sergei Pavlovich commented on his status as a backup fighter in the heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. The bout will take place at UFC 295.

Pavlovich wrote on social media:

November 11 is almost here! I will be very motivated to replace anyone who is not ready to fight in the main event!

Miocic last stepped up to fight Francis Ngannou in March 2021 at UFC 260. That fight, which was stopped in the second round, ended in a knockout loss for Stipe. He has 20 wins and four losses on his record.

Jones last fight was against Ciryl Gane in March of this year at UFC 285. In this confrontation, Jones won by first-round choking submission and won the championship belt in the heavyweight division. He has 27 wins and one loss on his record.
