Pereira Reacts To Adesanya's Refusal To Fight Third Time: I Will Respect His Opinion

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira reacted to former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya's refusal to fight him a third time.

The Brazilian said on his Youtube channel:

I will respect Adesanya’s opinion. It doesn’t matter if he’s afraid or not or not ready or whatever, or just wants to stay a little bit out. If he doesn’t want to fight me now, that’s OK. I respect that. That’s totally fine for me.

Recall, the first meeting between Pereira and Adesanya under the UFC banner, held in November 2022, ended with the victory of Alex by technical knockout in the fifth round. The fighters had a rematch in April 2023, which ended with Adesanya winning by knockout in the second round. He has 24 wins and three losses on his record. The Brazilian has nine wins and two losses.
