The featherweight bout between Brazilian Diego Lopes and Mexican Yair Rodriguez is scheduled for March 30 as part of UFC Fight Night 256 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Lopes's last match was against Brian Ortega in September 2024 at UFC 306. In that fight, which went the full distance, Diego won by unanimous decision. His record in mixed martial arts stands at 26 wins and six losses.
Rodriguez last stepped into the octagon in February 2024 at UFC Fight Night 237, where he lost to Brian Ortega by submission in the third round. His record includes 19 wins and five losses.
