Former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will fight under MMA rules against Shayna Baszler at the upcoming WWE SummerSlam event on August 5 at Ford Field Stadium in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Rousey, 36, had her last fight against Amanda Nunes in December 2016 at UFC 207. In this confrontation, Ronda was defeated by technical knockout in the first round. After that fight, she left the promotion and made her WWE debut in April 2018. She has 12 wins and two losses under her belt in MMA.
Baszler, 42, last fought in mixed martial arts in February 2017 at Deep - Jewels 15, losing to Reina Miura by unanimous decision. Shayna signed her contract with WWE in late 2017. She has 15 wins and 11 losses under her belt.
